Every time I drive in a busy urban area , I am most afraid of not finding a parking space. I believe that many drivers have a lot of heart. When you are out on business or have a restaurant appointment with others, you have to go out early. Looking for a parking space, reluctantly approaching the peak hours of dining, there are long queues in both private and public parking lots. When you search for a parking space and finally find a roadside parking space, you find that it is private land, you can only touch your nose and go nearby Find a parking space.

What is USPACE?

 The idea of ​​Song Jieren, co-founder and CEO of USPACE shared parking space platform , was based on personal experience of a time when he stopped by the roadside for business. He didn't expect the car to be towed away in just a few minutes. The painful experience made him vow to build a parking space sharing platform to solve the problem of insufficient parking spaces in Taipei .


There are about 800,000 parking spaces in Taipei City, of which 76% are private parking spaces. The general parking spaces available for parking add up to less than 200,000. If private parking spaces can be released for "sharing", there will be great profit potential .

When I drove to the gate of the parking lot, I found a long queue. I was stuck in the car array. I didn't want to wait but couldn't leave. I used USPACE to make an appointment in advance to ensure that there is a place to park.

2. Sub-billing is super cost-effective

Other parking lots are charged for half an hour or an hour, and more than one minute will be charged. USPACE is billed in cents, no matter how long you stop, you won't be charged more.

3. Easy payment without change

The first time you use the bound payment, you only need to move your finger when you park and leave the venue in the future, and the system will automatically calculate the parking time and deduct the money, and you will no longer have to look through your pockets to find change.

USPACE Parking Test


Click on the map to see how many parking lots (private parking spaces and chain parking lots) there are in the area. If you want to save time, you can search for the destination from the lower left corner, enter the place you want to go, and the APP will display the nearby destination. No shared parking spaces.

By the way, most of USPACE's shared parking spaces are mainly in the Greater Taipei area, but it has also begun to cooperate with parking lots in other counties and cities. For example, there are quite a few shared parking spaces in Taoyuan City.






I chose the shared parking space at "Tong'an Elementary School". From the picture, I can see that the shared parking space is charged in minutes and by hour . Usually, the price is cheaper than the parking lot in the same area. In addition, my favorite place It is possible to reserve a parking space to ensure that there is a parking space to park when you arrive at the scene , which is super convenient!

I reserved the number 7 parking space, and I can cancel the parking for free within three minutes.

USPACE Checkout Process


The checkout process at USPACE is also very simple! There is no need to find an administrator or a payment machine. All USPACE uses online electronic payment. After driving the vehicle directly out of the parking space, click "Stop Billing, Raise the Floor Lock" to checkout.





Experience


This is my first time using the shared parking space service, and I find it very convenient! Especially in the busy urban area, I used to walk around the neighborhood for half an hour to find a parking space. With the USPACE shared parking space, I can reserve a parking space in advance, and I don’t have to worry about the parking space being parked by others, and the fee is charged. The method is based on cent billing, which is different from the traditional parking lot which is billed for half an hour or an hour.
