The research, called "ControlNet for  QRcode , " was initiated by a group of Chinese digital artificial intelligence researchers. As early as when they were students, they developed a parametric 2D barcode generator called qrbtf.com. Recently, when they noticed the rise of Stable Diffusion and various AI drawing models, they restarted the "reform QRcode " project.




The goal this time is to use Stable Diffusion technology to create a QRcode that looks very similar to a picture . Through this research, they hope to integrate art and technology to bring a new visual experience to QRcode .

In the process of scanning the test, I first used the Line QRcode scanner to try to scan a few artistic QRcode works. However, these QRcodes come with artistic designs and complex image elements, making it difficult for Line  QRcode scanners to successfully decode them when they are scanned.

I scanned three works in my test, but only one was successfully decoded . This shows that the Line  QRcode  scanner has limited effect on artificial intelligence QRcode that combines art and technology . It can be affected by complex images and designs, making decoding difficult and making scans less stable.





Therefore, for this kind of special QR code works, it is recommended to use other QR code scanners that support artistic design, or look for a scanning tool with a higher decoding success rate.

Next, I tested it with a Tahoe  QR code  scanner. All three tests were successful!

Compared with Line  QRcode  scanner , T ahoe  QRcode scanner shows better performance when scanning artificial intelligence QR Code works. Its decoding speed is relatively fast, making the scanning process smoother.




Based on the comprehensive test results, we can conclude that although the built-in camera or Line QRcode scanner can meet the scanning needs of ordinary QR Codes, the effect is not ideal for these artificial intelligence QR Codes that integrate art and technology.

It is recommended to use a scanning tool with a higher decoding success rate, which performs better in scanning performance, decoding speed and supports artificial intelligence QRcode , and can better deal with this type of special QRcode .
